EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN – JONMER GROUP
 Ian doesn’t do lunches, but despite this remains one of
Auckland’s leading commercial property personalities
over the last 3 decades. Co-founder of Jonmer, Ian has
strived and successfully pushed its name to the forefront
of the commercial property sector in New Zealand.
From his roots on Auckland’s North Shore joined
the corporate world through Fisher & Paykel. After
dabbling in property during the 60’s he finally decided
to give up home appliances in 1973 for a full time life
of bricks and mortar.
Ian has been driven by the “work hard play hard” catch
phrase, and can be found most evenings sampling
Chardonnay in the Jonmer boardroom, where most
of the long term relationships established by the
company have been started.
